The other day, our outreach team was meeting with a group of clients when we received the ultimate compliment: "You make the best gradient rugs we've ever seen."
Honestly? We have to agree. We haven’t reached this level of precision by accident. We have spent years working hand-in-hand with our master dyers and weavers to perfect the art of the seamless transition.

When you look at a rug that fades perfectly from one hue to the next, it is easy to overlook the sheer amount of work happening behind the scenes. To get the smooth transition that we are known for, we have to move far beyond just a few standard colors. Depending on the depth of the design, we are often working with dozens of different custom dyed shades of a primary color just to bridge the gap.

It is a long and patient process in the dye house. Our dyers spend hours obsessing over the saturation of each individual skein of yarn to create a wide spectrum of incremental tones.

Then it is up to our weavers to meticulously blend those shades together on the loom. It is definitely not the fastest way to make a rug, but it is the only way to avoid those harsh or distracting lines you see in lesser quality pieces.

We take the long way because that is how you get a result that feels more like a sunset and less like a striped pattern.

If you have a specific color story in mind for your next project, we would love to help you bring it to life. Whether you are looking for a subtle tonal shift or a bold transformation across the floor, our team is ready to help you navigate the process. You can reach out to us to discuss custom color matching or to see more examples of how we handle these complex transitions.

Let’s work together to create something that fits your space perfectly.
